Nexus™ 100 General Waste Recycling Bin

With increased awareness of the importance of "away from home" recycling, RUD in conjunction with Glasdon International has developed a suite of recycling bins to suit all applications. Cross contamination of waste streams can result in extra collection costs due to the additional work required to sort the contaminated waste steams. With color coding, shaped apertures and simple graphics, the Glasdon range of recycling bins are a proven and effective method of reducing the costs of recycling.

Nexus™ 100 General Waste Recycling Bin


NEXUS™ 100 units can be sited side-by-side or back-to-back to create a recycling centre. Color-coded apertures (Pastel Blue, Pastel Green, Red, Yellow, Orange, Dark Grey and Black) and clear graphics make NEXUS 100 easily identifiable for effective use. Standard graphic options and Recycle Now graphic options are available. Optional post-mounted or wall-mounting sign kits are also available to help promote the recycling message. Paper, Cans, Plastic Bottles and Glass Bottles can all be collected in NEXUS 100, as well as other recyclables, such as Batteries, Mobile Phones, Bottle Tops, CDs and Ink Cartridges.


NEXUS 100 has a large 100 liter capacity. An additional 8ltr side pod is available on one or both sides of the NEXUS 100. This can be either a reservoir for collecting waste liquid from cans or bottles before depositing in the unit, a waste pod for collecting non-recyclable items, or an additional recycling bin for other items. A standard range of graphics are available and the trim on the pod can be supplied in Red, Orange, Yellow and Dusty Grey.

Working in the winter presents unique challenges for contractors, utility workers, delivery personnel and places where staff work outdoors during the winter months with slippery ice, deep snow and freezing temperatures. Weather-related slips and falls become a serious

hazard as winter conditions often make for wet or icy surfaces outdoors. Falls caused by slipping on ice or snow can cause broken bones and internal injuries, costing companies time and money. More and more companies are taking proactive measure to prevent their employees from being injured; some companies are now providing shoe chains to their employees keeping them safe from slipping and falling in the winter.

BERGSTEIGER (Burg sti gur) - Means "man who lives in the mountain" in German, the perfect name for the RUD shoe chains. Made from case-hardened, high-grade cadmium-plated steel chain links for exceptional grip and designed for secure grip on slippery ground such as ice and snow, the Bergsteiger is a wise investment for anyone that must be out in winter condition. The shoe chains are made up of individually welded chain links to provide extra grip for better traction and vulcanized rubber, which allows for years of reliable use and quick and easy installation. The Bergsteiger is available in four sizes and can be easily slipped on to the footwear as needed. The compact carry-bag easily attaches to the user’s belt, although the user should allow the chains to dry before returning them to their carry bag.
